I can honestly not say enough about this resort. We prefer to end our vacations with a few days at the beach and contemplated going to either Bodrum (Macakizi Hotel highly recommended) or Antalya (Maxx Royal & Gloria Serenity Hotels highly recommended); however, our Turkish friend strongly pushed D Maris Bay and now we know why. We rarely return to places we’ve visited because there is just so much to see in the world but this is one of those rare finds that we would come back to again and again! Where do I begin…..it’s a hidden paradise. You do not need to leave the resort, it has it all……..and it is categorized as a Leading Hotel of the World.
* Five white sand beaches (the white sand imported from Egypt). You can access the beaches by a ferry boat and there is an adults only beach.
*The spa……wow! Expect top quality treatments…..
*The restaurants: There are 5 restaurants. La Guerite (we had lunch here, casual, on the water, good food). Manos (known for its seafood but was closed while we were there). Zuma (amazing sushi, world famous-Dubai, London, Rome). Nusr-Et (aka Salt Bae, know for its steak and also world famous). Ruya (Anatolian cuisine). The Terrace (where we would have the most fabulous breakfast, it had a private, temperature controlled cheese room).

*Activities: There are various activities that include sailing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, kayaking, etc.. Its an aquatic sports playground with so much to offer. There is also a kids club, yoga and fitness classes, an ice cream shop, tennis courts, hiking and much more. The kids loved the funicular that takes you up and down the mountain from the hotel to the beaches.
