Visiting the Rajasthan area of India (northern half) has been one of the most memorable travel experiences of my life. I have to admit, we splurged on this vacation because both my husband and I were celebrating our 40th birthdays. This is a pricey itinerary; however, I will say it was worth the money! I’ve never seen 7 star service like this…….
INDIA ITINERARY:
The India vacation was 7 nights and 8 days with 2 overnight flights in and out of India. Our schedule was the following:
Fly into Delhi and transfer flight to –Udaipur (2 nights)–Delhi (2 nights)–Rathanbore National Park (2 nights)–Jaipur (1 night)–Back to Delhi for flight out.
We flew into Delhi and from there took a flight on Jet Connect to Udaipur (68 usd). After 2 nights in Udaipur took a flight back to Delhi on Spice Jet (68 usd). After 2 nights in Delhi we flew Spice Jet to Jaipur (36 usd). Airport transfer from Jaipur to Rathanbore National Park was a 4 hour drive. After 2 nights in Rathanbore, we drove back to Jaipur and stayed 1 night there. Then flew Spice Jet from Jaipur to Delhi (37 usd) and flew home. You can drive all of this but it would take double the time. The airlines were efficient and clean, we never had a problem with delays or baggage. The flights are short (@ 30 min to 1 hour) and cheap, so I recommend flying!
