*THE SPA: There is so much offered that it is difficult to choose but there are a variety of medical spa services that were interesting. I tried the colon hydrotherapy (nice way of saying a colonic) which was uncomfortable but i’m sure was good for my system. I also tried the magnetic clay foot bath, which you place your feet in a clay substance that draws out the impurities in your body. They also have the usual massages, facials, etc., but I was intrigued with the more unique med/spa services. They have cupping, acupuncture and so many more…..
*FOOD: I would return just for the food at this spa!! They source all of their vegetables from their garden and make all of their food on the premises, making their own jams, butters, breads, dressings, etc.. All the food is organic, vegan and raw. When I read this I wasn’t sure I wanted to go because I love meat. I have to say it was impressive what they can do with their food without using sugar or cooking the ingredients. I even bought their cookbook: RAW. The chef had breast cancer and claims to have cured herself through some of the med/spa services and a clean diet of organic, vegan, raw food. They don’t serve any alcohol other than organic wine, which wasn’t too bad, but defeats the purpose of the cleanse.

*VILLAS: There are a variety of villas, some basic and others with their own plunge pools and a terrace with a view of the jungle. I’ve stayed in the basic garden villa and also the Nara pool villa, which was amazing.

*SERVICES: You can keep yourself quite busy here with morning walks, yoga classes, a gym, meditation, spa and just relaxing at the various infinity pools!
